Atalie Liu, OD

Dr. Atalie Liu is passionate about helping people see the world clearly so they can fully enjoy life’s experiences. She believes healthy vision is essential for an active, fulfilling life: whether it involves exploring new places, enjoying hobbies, connecting with loved ones, or reaching personal goals. Her care is compassionate, patient-focused, and tailored to each individual. 

After earning her undergraduate degree from UC San Diego, Dr. Liu returned home to the Los Angeles area to complete her Doctor of Optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. Her clinical training included caring for veterans at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, providing eye care at a Los Angeles community health clinic, and co-managing cataract and refractive surgery cases with ophthalmologists. These experiences allowed her to develop expertise in diagnosing and treating a broad range of eye conditions while serving diverse patient populations.

Dr. Liu has a strong interest in glaucoma management as well as medical care for diabetic
retinopathy, macular degeneration, and dry eye syndrome. She is passionate about early
detection and prevention, helping patients protect and preserve their vision for the long term. Dr. Liu stays up to date with the latest research, new eye medications, and advancements in eye care to provide the most effective treatments available. 

Outside the office, she enjoys Pilates, weightlifting, hiking with her dog, traveling, and exploring Los Angeles’ vibrant dining scene.
